The Pelican HawkEye System connects event detection systems to critical response systems.
There is no inherent limit on the number of or types of Event Detection or Critical Response
Systems HawkEye can interact with. HawkEye’s architecture allows it to be scaled up quickly
and effectively to handle large implementations.
When an event occurs in the real-world and that event is detected by an automated Event Detection System, the
location of that event can be determined or is known. If the location of the event corresponds to a defined area
within HawkEye’s configuration, HawkEye will determine which Critical Response Assets or Systems need to
be alerted and, based on the event, quickly alert the appropriate Critical Response Assets or Systems.
HawkEye is a link between disparate systems that otherwise can’t communicate with each other.
HawkEye exists because popular Critical Response Systems are incapable (without outside help) of responding to
events that are automatically generated by external and 3rd party systems. HawkEye acts as a link between these
systems in an easy to configure, easy to scale, easy to customize platform that allows for seamless and rapid
integration with existing Critical Response Systems (such as cameras) and Event Detection Systems.
By replacing normaly manual processes with HawkEye provides faster situational awareness for first-responders and saves critical time in investigating incidents as they occur.
